BBC’s hit “Antiques Road Trip” presenter David Harper, paid £15,000 a year for his daughter tuitions to attend the prestigious Barnard Castle School in County Durham. BBC star demands school fees be refunded after getting mad at his daughter’s tattoo.
Her daughter “Hetti Harper” outdid at music while she was studying there, also she becomes the head of the choir in her final year, and she progressed well to frame a career with her band Tiffany Twisted.
She was so thankful for the guidance and reassurance that she learned at the school that she liked to have its Latin motto – Parvis imbutus tentabis grandia tutus – written across her chest.
Hetti says she’s had a lot of recognition since getting the tattoo some three weeks ago and people frequently stop her in the street to investigate what it means – which our readers will already know is “when you are steeped in little things, you shall safely attempt great things”.
BBC Star Demands School Fees be Refunded
David said, “After I dismayed at the sight of the tattoo, I was angry that after all the money I’d spent on her education, I didn’t expect her to end up being a free walking advert for the school. But, a little later I conceived a bright thought to ask the school if they’d completely like to sponsor Hetti in her music career and give me back some of the school fees I’d paid.”
Harper added: “Hetti considered it a fabulous concept to have the school motto tattooed across her thorax, as the school played such a big part in her music career. I’m expecting that I’ll get some cashback from the school and Hetti once she makes it.
