Parenting at any age has never been an easy job. Kids grow up so fast and some parents are not ready for it. The case gets more complicated when you have daughters. One dad who didn’t agree with his daughter’s short decided to teach her in a different way. So dad wears shorts to teach his daughter lesson.
Jason Hilley from Orlando, Florida cut up his own jeans and strutted into his 14 years old daughter’s room. He decided to teach her a lesson in parenting 101 and he did so by showing her just how tacky and inappropriately short her shorts really are. But he also decided to teach her a little lesson about fashion and modesty.
Jason, 39, captioned the hilarious video that he posted on Facebook “You wear yours out in public? I will wear mine! Parenting 101!”
A few weeks ago, Kendall appeared in the living room showing what her father thought was a little too much skin. Jason said, ‘Kendall, take my debit card and buy yourself shorts that fit”, She got on her computer and did just that. So, Jason said, he was confused when Kendall tried to leave the house with her old ones. Jason asked, why aren’t you wearing your new shorts? These are my new shorts Kendall replied. That’s when come up with amazing idea to cut up his jeans.
Kendall was so embarrassed that she sat on the bed and covered her mouth while her little brother watched on and laughed his little head off. All this happened while Jason’s wife Alison recorded the whole thing on her phone.
Jason later explained, “Kids will be kids and try to push the limits. That’s when I step in and try to correct the behavior with a little bit of humor. You don’t have to yell and scream and punish to get a point across.”
