A mom was left speechless after finding a letter from a stranger inside a box of nappies she bought. Over the weekend, one mother went to the store to buy a box of nappies for her little one. When she came back home and unpacked the new box, she was a little surprised by what she saw inside. Instead of just a pack of diapers, the mum finds a sweet letter inside the nappies box from a stranger and an Australian 5 dollar bill.
An Australian mom “Michelle Pannett” shared a snap of her belongings on Facebook and is currently being shared by fellow parents who appreciated the kind gesture.
The note states: “To the person who finds this. If you are having a tough day, I thought maybe I could brighten it up with this little surprise.
“Go buy a coffee or a scratch ticket. Practice some self-care today.
“Always remember you are much loved and you are amazing.”
It also highlighted the phrase “My Wealth Wednesday”.
Mum Finds a Sweet Letter
Michelle shared her post, stating: “Having a day at home today just trying to catch up on the mountains of housework. I had opened up a new carton of nappies bought from Alexandra Hills Woolworths on the weekend and found this note and $5.”
“To the kind person that has done this thank you!! It is such a wonderful gesture and certainly brought a smile to my face. I will def get a coffee or a scratchy soon.”
“Hopefully someone sees this who knows you and passes on my thanks,” she added.
Since then, her post went viral on Facebook and being shared hundreds of times with many people considering it as a lovely thing to do.
“How lovely,” commented one woman. Another said: “OMG this is beautiful.”
A third replied: “That’s so sweet, so nice of someone to do such a thing, a lovely little surprise for you! A little bit of kindness goes a long way!!”
However, some of the social media users disagreed, as they assumed it as creepy because the carton of nappies had been tampered with.
Another influencer replied: “My first thought was ‘Oh how lovely’. Then I looked at my new box of nappies, realized it’s fairly sealed up and now I wonder how the message could get in.”
A different user commented: “The package has been tampered with which is creepy.
