Stray animals in our street also demand good care and attention from us. As a matter of fact, there are so many stray animals in this world and most of them are starving, sick, or injured. Sorrowfully, it’s difficult to help them all. Though, this dog in Ceará, Brazil decided he would change his fate and walked into a vet clinic called Vet Vip. It’s difficult to know how this intelligent dog realized where to go. He was very lucky to find a vet named Dayse Ferreira da Silva that decided to help him right away. Stray Dog Goes to a Vet
The kind vet examined the dog and asked him to go to the examination room. To her wonder, he quickly followed her instructions.
Dayse Ferreira da Silva revealed: “Quindim was a stray dog. Through the outside cameras of the vet, I saw that he was walking, and then he lay down and took a nap. Then he got up and went to the office door. Right away, I felt that he required help and I asked him in. He graciously allowed me to examine him and after some tests, he was diagnosed with a transmissible venereal tumor, which is a very prevalent disease in stray dogs and also extremely contagious.”
The vet went over to check him and understand what was wrong with the poor dog. She told him to go to the exam room and surprisingly, he accepted.
Dayse found out he had a transmissible venereal tumor, which is a common disease in stray dogs.
She decided to help the distressed dog out and even gave him a name – Quindim. Happily, he is doing great now, responding well to chemotherapies, to the drugs he has been taking and so far he has had no adverse reaction. Quindim is now ready for adoption.
