There are many thrill-loving people in this world that would do anything to feel the rush of adrenaline course through their bodies. Either they’re jumping off of a cliff, high diving into crystal clear water, or doing something more crazy like jumping out of an airplane to experience the sensation of flying, no doubt, these people have some firm nerves and the most adventurous ones out there. A same incident took place when a daring couple got married 400ft above the Moab Canyon and shared vows.
A Daring Couple Got Married
Kimberly and Ryan enjoys it so much, they were even joined on a space net over the Moab Canyon. Not only do they relish doing it as a fun, they do it for a business, as well! Together, they began Slackademics, a website for slackline and high line art, learning, and support.
It would only look appropriate to get wedded in the same place. The couple decided to do something different on their wedding. So they came up with an idea that why not to be get married at the same time as their favorite festival, GGBY, a High line and BASE jumping festival.
Their best friend built an incredible, brilliantly glowing space net for the ceremony. As they were hung 400 feet above the Earth, they shared vows that they will forever hold each other’s hands through thick and thin. While they were exchanging their vows, their dearest colleagues were doing marvelous acts all around them.
Below them, there were people showing performances on flying silks! There was also people walking around them on high lines. The best, and most imaginative part, was their marvelous interpretation of the “flower girls”!
Fortunately, the couple understands a lot of other enthusiasts of extreme thrills. Their “flower girls” were actually BASE jumpers! When they jumped off the sides of the cliffs, thousands of rose petals were tossed from their backpacks.
Kimberly and Ryan couldn’t have chosen a more memorable idea to getting married.
“It is a representation of confidence, self-love, and life; the energy I want to surround myself with and carry with me into our marriage and throughout our lives together,” Kimberly said on Instagram.
The love birds are more than happy with their style of wedding venue.
“It was so fun to be able to take the traditional ceremony of marriage and turn it into something so completely ‘us,’ down to every last detail,” said Kimberly.
