A couple from Kitchener, Canada was enjoying their wedding shoot in a park bridge in Cambridge, Ontario when the groom “Clayton Cook” saves a drowning boy was struggling in the nearby water.
Clayton and his wife “Brittany Cook’ had just gone married and were preparing some wedding photos when Clayton Cook abruptly dived into a nearby river when he saw a boy in trouble in Victoria Park Lake and drew him on the shore and saved the drowning boy. Their wedding photographer caught the heroic scene of the groom that gone viral.
Clayton told the media, “For some minutes these kids were accompanying us and I also kept an eye on them as they were standing close to the water. While Brittany was getting her solo shots taken I realized only two were standing on the rock ledge. I saw the boy in the water striving to maintain his head up. That’s when I dived. I just drew him out and he was alright.”
Clayton’s wife said she formerly believed he had dived in the water as a joke. And she believes most people would presumably make the identical decision,” she said.
Darren Hatt, the photographer of the marriage, informed the media. As soon as I could turn around he had already plunked him on the ground outside the river. So I just kept on capturing the story of the day, including this.”
After being retrieved, the boy seemed fine, and went off with sibling. After the rescue, Clayton Cook didn’t even change out of his suit. Instead, he went about his particular day without mourning once about his wet shoes.
Thank God Clayton and Brittany were at the right place at the right moment and that Darren was on hand to catch it for all to see.
